Unlike the digital ETA, the Visitor Visa requires a physical biometrics appointment at a VFS Global center.

Complete the form on GOV.UK. Select 'Canada' as the country you are providing biometrics in.

Pay the application fee and the Immigration Health Surcharge (if applicable) online.

VFS Appointment

Register on the VFS Global Canada portal to book your biometrics slot in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, etc.

Submit Documents

Upload your supporting documents digitally via the VFS portal or pay for document scanning at the center.

Biometrics Day

Visit the VFS center to have your fingerprints and photo taken. You'll leave your passport there.
